Tim A. Tarter

Tim Tarter has over 35 years of experience representing clients in all aspects of federal, state, and international tax controversy matters, including IRS audits and appeals as well as trial and appellate litigation. Calling on his experience as a former IRS senior attorney, Tim frequently resolves tax disputes prior to trial on favorable terms for the client. If needed, however, Tim has substantial experience litigating tax disputes in the U.S. Tax Court and other federal courts. Tim was born and raised in Idaho and spends his free time on Arizona’s golf courses and Idaho’s back roads.
