Tom brings 40 years of legal experience to the firm, having practiced in virtually all areas of the law, with an emphasis on estate and tax planning and probate. He has mostly practiced law as a solo practitioner, which allowed him the flexibility to jump into local politics. He served as Mayor of the City of Sun Valley, a council member of the Sun Valley City Council, and on many boards of local charitable organizations, including the Wood River Community YMCA and the Idaho chapter of The Nature Conservancy. Tom was named Citizen of the Year in 1999 by the Ketchum/Sun Valley Chamber of Commerce, primarily for his efforts in facilitating the merger between St. Luke’s hospital with City and County hospitals. In his spare time, Tom can be found zipping around the mountain bike trails in Ketchum, searching for that elusive perfect backcountry powder run, or relaxing with friends and family.
